Had a client with a disabled son who had the previous lift company leave them without a lift for weeks. Reed Lifts turned up within a few hours and made my client very happy by fixing the lift.

Repairs, planned maintenance and specialist platform lift support across London and the South East. One engineer who knows every lift on your list, and answers the phone himself.

Communal platform lifts and stairlifts across residential blocks, with reporting your leaseholders can actually read.
Planned maintenance and reactive cover for lifts serving tenants who have no other way between floors.
Care homes, hospices and supported living, where a lift failure is an immediate welfare problem, not an inconvenience.
Offices, libraries, loading bays and multi-tenant buildings, including DDA compliance upgrades.
Most lift contracts are sold on price per visit. What costs you money is the lift that keeps failing, the examination that lapsed, and not being able to get a straight answer when a resident is complaining.
Same-day attendance on weekdays. You get told what the fault is, what it costs and when it will be back, rather than a ticket number and silence.
A lift that fails every few weeks is a lift nobody has properly diagnosed. We look for the cause rather than clearing the symptom and re-invoicing you for it.
Six-monthly thorough examinations and scheduled maintenance across every lift on your list, with the paperwork issued when it should be.
One number, one engineer, and a straight answer on whether a lift needs money spending on it or is fine for another year.
Everything your procurement or compliance process needs before a contractor gets on site. All certificates available on request.
£10m public liability
Cover for commercial and contractor work. Certificates on request.
LOLER competent person
Statutory thorough examinations and reports issued in-house.
NVQ Level 3, electrical and mechanical
Plus EAL lifting operations qualifications. Certificates on request.

Yes. That is how most of our commercial work runs. One contract, one schedule and one engineer who gets to know each lift, rather than whoever a national rota sends that week.
Same-day on weekdays, subject to where we are that morning. Our fastest response is the north Kent corridor and south east London, because the workshop is at Meopham. We do not claim 24/7 cover, because we do not offer it.
Any lift carrying people needs a LOLER thorough examination every six months, and goods-only lifts every twelve. A lift also needs re-examining after significant repair or modification. Missing one puts you outside the law and typically invalidates insurance.
Yes. We will survey what is on site first, tell you honestly what condition each lift is in and what has been missed, then quote. No obligation on the survey.
Yes. Several of the companies on our homepage use Reed Lifts for platform lift work, overflow callouts and commissioning when the job lands the wrong end of their patch. We work under your name and conduct ourselves accordingly.
We are independent, so all of them in practice. Regular work on Motala, Aritco, Cibes, Wessex, Stannah, Acorn, Barduva, Vimec, NAMI, Handicare and Thyssen units, including parts other companies have written off as obsolete.
Send over what you've got and where it is. You'll get an honest read on each lift before anyone talks about a contract.
Same-day callouts on weekdays. You speak to the engineer, not a call centre.
